Reading NOTW in starbucks over a Latte, I turned to the music review page and low and behold I spotted a Sisters review !!!
*** star review
II's 20 years since their last album - but the pioneers of goth music show no sign of dying.
Frontman Andrew Eldritch leads his band through 90 minutes of brooding, dark music. His voice has aged well, as have 80's classics like Temple Of Love and Dominion.
A fine slice of nostalgia from The Sisters Of Mercy but the long wait for a new album is inexcusable.
Dave Freak
I guess he enjoyed the show as we did
Hey MR E, even NOTW want a new album.. Pull ya finger out and get it done !!!

Wondering what the hell is going on, more like. Stonking gigs, good sound, a singer who seems to have gotten his voice back, changes in the setlist, positive reviews in national media, highest t-shirt sellers, glowing tributes from other bands. About the only thing missing is the president of WEA down on his knees begging Von to come back.
Did aliens kidnap our Sisters and replace them with cunning, but not quite 100% accurate, body-swaps?

All he needs now is a funny hat and a velvet coat.

All

When you summarize it like this I see no arguments against the record (not that I had any arguments against it before). Unfortunately my opinion does not count.

easy money on festivals, easy money on tees. and after positive reviews and info about best selling tee money will come larger stream. what he need more ? cats are happy when daddy isn't at only twa weeks. he's happy. everyone are happy. as we know it's easy to feel let down and overdose TSOM after/ during long tour.

Funny hat with long hair in your 20s on a lot of drugs: Quite silly, but in a sleazoid R'n'R manner acceptable for purpose.
Funny hat on a shaved head in your 50s: Really quite tragic. Not in a good way

I'm just wondering what our response would be if The Sisters "suddenly" became popular. We are all so accustomed to.." who?..never heard of 'em"

Or: "I saw them once... [Twenty/ten/fifteen] years ago."
Probably unlikelier than just Unlikely, but I hope this is a sign of an upward spiral and not a freak occurance.
