As John Spence at Fairview Studios in Hull wrote on their
website he worked with The Sisters, I asked him about
details - this is what he wrote to me on 13 September:

Hi, and thanks for your enquiry.
You might think it strange but I honestly can't remember
much detail ... it was 26 years ago!
I took over engineering duties from Ken Giles after 'Alice'/
'Floorshow'. The first record they made outside of Ken's
studio was 'Temple of Love' so I guess I did everything
in-between.
I remember a mammoth 36 hour mixing session at the end
of 'The Reptile House' EP session and also recording
probably the first version of 'This Corrosion' but Andrew
never used to credit engineers or producers and I was
never given copies of the finished products except 'The
Reptile House'.
I also worked on other projects Andrew produced ...
Salvation was one of them.
I hadn't heard these recordings for a long long time but
about 4 years ago Andy Newlove at Fairview gave me a
compilation which contained some of them. Sadly, like a
lot of eighties music and recordings they don't stand the
test of time but we were all learning!
Roy Neave got to work with the Sisters when I recommended
him as a replacement for me when I was commited to another
project.
Sorry it's all a bit vague!
Regards
John Spence.
