Legion To Split - Last gigs announced

I'm very sorry to announce that Legion have decided to disband. The decision was not reached lightly but it was, in the end, unanimous.

As is often the case, there is no one reason. Suffice to say that various personal and musical differences began to make the situation untenable. None the less, the band have decided between ourselves that it's been an excellent few years and would still like to play and enjoy some goodbye gigs.

The first of our goodbye shows is in London next week. This will be our LAST EVER London show, so those in the south that would like to see the band should come along. It will be at Slimelight on Saturday October 2nd. Support will come from The Last Cry and Section 3, Legion themselves will be playing the main support for Anne-Marie Hurst (her from Ghost Dance and Skeletal Family).

Hop over to Flag Promotions (http://www.flagpromotions.com/) for more information and tickets.

Our final show will be in Leeds on Saturday November 20th, more information to follow.

Just the right (wrong) balance of self-important pompousness and self mocking lightheartedness huh?

First my relationship. Now the band. Soon my degree will be over. As Bob said: The times they are'a changing. I feel more than a little... lost.

Stick with your friends. You've got many here, I'm sure.
They'll see you alright.
Chin up bud.

Not as many as I once did. But thanks for the kind words, I know these things always work out in the end, sometimes it just takes some time.

Aww, dear. :( That's a lot all at once, but just remember that everything's very temporary at this stage in our lives. You'll bounce back, the fog'll clear up soon.

You're not helping him with that comment y'know!

Chin up Maisey, been there done that. You will have ten more bands, and the last but one will feature your now ex-girl again, mark my words :D

Nothing lasts forever in music, except for music itself.

Just remember it is quality, not quantity that counts. A few brilliant friends that you can trust & who will help you when you need it are worth their weight in gold.

Don't shoot...
The only time I've ever been on stage was at Camden's Proud Gallery where I had to help Selfish C.unt's frontman find the bottle of whiskey that I had placed beside the guitar amp during their line-check. Our next trip took us to Budapest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLE_VLPNhJI
