i did point out to them that the rh site was long forgotten, and that wouldn't it be a good idea now they were selling t-shirts online to link the rh site to the mamshop... but i didn't expect them to turn the thing off
unless someone forgot to renew the domain. which is a bit of a balls up

i'm guessing that because link to RH still exist on TSOM web page someone simply forgot about his obligation.

Once a domain name passes its registration end-date there is usually a period where it can be re-registered only by the previous registrant. I suspect that's where we're at now.

Noticed this a few days ago,I'm glad I'm not the only one sad enough to visit pages that have been long inactive! My avatar on most other forums I post on is the Reptile House logo from that very page.

in poland i pay for .com around 25 euros for year but if you are new one there are promotions as "first year for free" or something.

yep. it gets put into a state of limbo for a while, where the original owner gets first dibs on re-registering it.

Erm. I know the data is available on whois, but is it entirely wise putting the phone number up?
(IIRC +44 7767 xxxxxx is likely to be an Orange UK mobile number.)
