Saw them kick off the tour at Aberdeen AECC last night.
Lemmy and the boys are in fine form and the two songs they played off the new album "The world Is Yours" rocked like the proverbial bastard!

Sounds good
Two and-a-bit weeks 'til Leeds.
And yes, I'm the only one who cares when Mikkey Dee does his drum solo

As far as these things go it's a classic - complete with plumes of smoke rising either side of the kit.Norman Hunter wrote: And yes, I'm the only one who cares when Mikkey Dee does his drum solo

seeing 'em next week in Leicester. Looking forward to seeing Mike Monroe almost as much as 'Head, I hear he does a ton of Hanoi Rocks stuff these days and he has Steve Conte from the Dolls in the band.

I've seen the news on it on the web, it's really sickening. Feel sorry for the guy's family. And I bet whoever it was, they will come up with some petty "excuse" (drunk, unemployed, frustrated, whatever...)...

That sucks, although the article is intriguing...
Which rather sounds as if Mr. Crawford and cousin accosted a couple of chaps and kicked off, resulting in unfortunate consequences for Mr. C. Not to suggest for a second that what happened to him is in any way justifiable, but it may be that he and his cousin were the aggressors in this instance.Yorkshire Post wrote:It is believed that after leaving the O2 Academy, Mr Crawford and his cousin thought they spotted two men responsible and a confrontation followed in Dudley Way near the car park to The Light shopping centre and Leeds Cathedral at around 11.10pm.

I think I might have 'had a word' if I saw somebody who had earlier tried to set fire to my mates hair.

Well yeah. But what if they got the wrong people? How would you react if two nutters started coming at you agressively yelling about "setting my hair on fire" when you hadn't a clue what they were on about?

I guess we don't know enough about the actual events to ever know.
