James Ray live in '89?

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for some time. Enjoy browsing through this forum a lot. This must be my first post though.
I saw James Ray live in 1989 (I think it was in late August) at the Camden Palace in London - or was it in 1988?
I think it was advertised as James Ray & the Performance, but I seem to remember that the tickets were sold at the entrance as a James Rays Gangwar show.
Was anybody there and has got clearer memories than mine?
I remember finding the show quite intense but short. I only knew Mexico Sundown Blues at the mine and didn't recognise a single song at the gig.

Hello and welcome. Can't help with your question but there are several JR fans around who might.

Thanks for the info, iesus!
So I was right, it was actually James Rays Gangwar.
Now I've got to try and track down the recording!

Might be a few days but I'll get it sorted. In the meantime the 1993 bootleg is available on this forum somewhere.
