There are a couple of good bands worth checking out, such as Front 242 (GODS!), Funker Vogt, Covenant, Nebula H, Colony 5, Wumpscut, and of course... Belgium's own Suicide Commando!
IZZY.

i'm not totally sure what bands can be classed as EBM...
Apoptygyma berzerk? deine lakaien? sneaky bat machine/goteki? sisterhood? katscan? psycophile? diary of dreams? blutengel? de/vision?
i like all them anyway

don't think Deine Lakaien is EBM. nor Diary Of Dreams.
but I have the same question about Front Line Assembly. and the same comment - I like FLA anyway

i always preferred the older ebm - 242, nitzer ebb, daf, depeche mode's darker material, that kind of stuff...
but lately, yes. mesh have been rocking my world in an old skool way, as the saying goes...

I used to really like Nitzer Ebb.
I recently bought a secondhand Front By Front on vinyl for old times sake, can't say I've listened to more than once.
I also don't really like the new stuff, but then I haven't been listening to anything electro for a while.
