i remember very clear the logo of the Mac in the last 2 shows of Sis i was there...
i am not clearly sure that Dr.Avalanche at this moment is the old piece of machinery from the 80's that used to be
if someone knows better please write about it but it was too brightly shine to be an old one

i don't think they ever played against each other for real. Deep Blue came up with numerous excuses and demands to ruin the match.
But from the bootleg i think Jolene is missing. Some ex-collector might have it on alternate source.

therefore, I'd like to know whether it's true ...

Thank you, Rafal ...

no, Jolene was the last song.i had transfer the mastertape to CD(for the taper S.K.) with few seconds from Jolene.

good to know
hope you master sounds better than "deep blue..." source.

Thanks, Eggi ...
Maybe, you're wrong about the recording,
lachert ...
I've just noticed that there are two versions of the
Deep Blue CD ...
one of which is b/w cover with certain alleged "bonus" tracks from 1992-1996
and a few nasty remarks on Andrew's singing on the inlay.
But I've been there and I know for sure, his singing was alright! At least from where I was.

I don't have it but it's my favourite Sisters bootleg title ever!

Don't have it either.
The thing I've got misses Jolene but has the medley ...
obviously a different recording from what Eggi transferred ...
...
but it does not sound like recorded with a voice recorder ...
*I love the medley ... could have gone ever further after it had passed Lucretia ...
... but they were
getting married in the morning ...
... lovely, what a blindfolded waste of time ...
...
Hell, how long ago is that ...

today i see it that way:
Eggi transffered mastertape of SK to CD (as he don't know how to do this or something) with few seconds of Jolene, then SK cut out that few seconds and made "deep blue versus dr. avalanche" cdr and spread among collectors.
there's alsow incomplete version 42 minutes on Eggi's list but i don't know what is missing.
PiB alsow got something like second source on his list (full one?) but all it's paint in black here:

i like that gig very much too so other better recorded source most wanted

They did that a few times that tour. When most people thought the show was over, they surprisingly rushed back on stage for a quicky with Jolene. In Dour (B) they did that after Vision Thing (mostly an end of gig song), in Rendsburg after the Sister Ray medley (also a usual end of nighter).
I even remember that in Dour they took off their shirts for that last song, so they must have been in 'good' spirit

No, they did not play anything after the medley in Rendsburg! The medley
was the end of the show. The longest medley ever. And there was no rushing
back for
Jolene before.
In fact, I don't remember them playing
Jolene there at all, but in this point,
I could be at error. It's so long ago, this medley was so very long. And my
deepest impression of
Jolene was - for a long time - the one of Offenbach 1996 ...
So, perhaps Eggi was thinking of the Dour show ...

so, here a sample from the medley + Jolene(54 s):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZHU54R4H
It's 100% Rendsburg
and the taper makes not the bootleg. Tapers give the recordings no stupid names.
Posted: 15 Jan 2011, 13:08
by paint it black
Jolene = 'we're getting married in the morning'

... I've got a list with almost countless funny names ....
Thousands of thanks for the sample ...

*faint for a moment...
