Damage Done on Ebay II

"Bought back in the mid-80ies in London at Vinyl Solution for a fortune."

Serious rip-off if you ask me, but then, in hindsight

Seriously, 885 euro...

Had mail contact with the seller..he expected to get a lot of money, but he was almost shocked about the 885 Euros. And let´s stay serious, I mean everyone would like to have that record, but 885 Euros for a 7" record? My brain told me pretty early to get out of this bidding again, for example 900 Euros is half the budget for the family holidays this summer. I think it´s all crazy....

Think I remember that too.

...about the run-off grove and the cross on the church (saw the pic he tries to sell the record with? The top of the sleeve front is cut off in such a way that you can´t tell if the cross is there or not..) Looks definately like the "Japanese re-issue".

First, I didn´t want to pay THAT much for it (see earlier post..) with the hope I´d be lucky and get one a bit cheaper, but after having a look at the auction results in the last few months I changed my opinion to "get one before the price gets even higher". And true it´s not lost money, I think we´ll see the first ones being sold for over 1000 EUR in a few months. AE and GM would never have imagined that back in 1980
