The sound from the balcony was really good. Because of sound limits in Switzerland it's never really loud but it worked just fine. And the view was just perfect on the stage (when there was not too much smoke of course).

The venue is a good one. Not very easy to find for sure (but google maps can help you). Andrew was probably pleased to learn that there is generally "25 Whores in street next door" as the local hookers are working close to this club. The show was soldout (capacity of 1000 people) but even when it's full there's room for everyone.

I noticed the crowd moving in front of the stage but it seemed really "peaceful" from my position.

The band seemed to have fun. Almost no chat and break between songs. Looked like they had a train to catch.

Setlist could have been better. My First 2011 show and i had expected to hear the new songs in the setlist (rain from heaven, gift that shines, etc..).

I've seen the Sisters a few times since 2000 and overall this was an average good one.

Thanks Air Bert, for the pictures and the video of Summer (I love this song) ...

However, there are hardly any sound problems perceptible ... ... to the contrary ...

*linked the vid to the Wiki ... ;D ... I think your photos no. 3 and 9 might also look good there, if you don't mind?

thanks

Sure, use whatever you want for the wiki.

I have 2 or 3 more songs on videos on my sd card. Will try to find the time to upload them.

I'm pretty satisfied with the sound quality considering it was recorded with a digital camera.

As I said elsewhere, the Switzerland experience this time is best forgotten or regarded as pure bad luck.

However, I'm glad Emma and Andrew - if I've understood correctly - have enjoyed both shows, as they've made all the way to joing us seeing them. For us the two shows were Heimspiele, for which you can take the risks that they're below your hopes.

To quote the famous and the less famous: NEXT.
Ooff. This sounds horror to me. Switzerland has a demon clean weird atmoashere imho.

Reminds me of a Swiss campsite back in 1992 with my parents where i saw a Sting announcement, who performed in a venue nearby. Time to leave...

Here's a review of the show in french :
http://www.20min.ch/ro/musique/concert_ ... y/24490519
obviously the reporter doesnt know much about the band (suprised by the smoke on the stage, the bald singer, the new songs, etc..). He also thinks that it possibly was lipsynched !

it's people like YOU who keep people like US happy; and feed the ache in our hearts in the abscence of anything from the band. :von:
