Hi, Does anyone know how far the Ruby Lounge is from Picadilly Railway station, and what's the easiest way to get to it walking ?
What time does the bands come on at Ruby Lounge roughly. ?
Don't know if the gig is still on regarding the trouble in Manchester of late, but at this present time, the Ruby Lounge says the gig is still on.
Think Quiff Boy will know all the Questions above , but all your answers are much appreciated.

aye, ruby lounge is about 2 mins round the corner from picc gardens, opposite the arndale centre
picc gardens is about 5mins walk from picc station
easiest way is to head for the gardens, then carry on walking and follow the tram lines around the bend.
google maps
tbh, i'd wait and see what's happening with the disturbances before setting off on friday
i'll let you know if it's calmed down enough... it seems have calmed down tonight, but i gather police have had tip-offs that its being saved up for friday
(we're not going anyway, regardless of the riots
)

fwiw, there was increased police presence last night but no trouble
i think (hope!) it's passed now, so the only potential gotcha would be the trains
i'd keep your eye on these pages

looks ok so far though
and just to clarify, when i say "follow the tram lines around the bend" i should have added "...around the side of debenhams"
enjoy

but as ness says, enjoy!

and what do you know, we ended up at the gig...!
to be fair, it was pretty good too. best one i've seen since the real band split up, and better than actual chameleons gigs i've seen

Watching the Chuckle Brothers would have been better than a couple of the Chameleons gigs
