hello all,

While cleaning the mess, I found out this very funny item.
It is the pre order sales sheet from Warner Music France .text runs:
"after 5 years of silence, the great return of sisters of mercy" ( don't care for the "the")
"new album, 10 unreleased tracks"
(then the track listing)
start of preorder: October 20th, end: November 7th, shipping November 13th, release date November 1'th"

I still have no clue as to how include a photo in a mail but anyway, here is the Megaupload link to view it. it should take you a second to download it.Sorry for that.

enjoy

one thing is quite funny though: there is 4 weeks between the start of the pre order and the release date.
The release was cancelled but record companies usually send their material for manufacturing 5 weeks upfront of the release date.
Doesn't make much sense, if you understand what i mean.
Well maybe it got postponed before getting cancelled. i can't remember to be honest.

Oh no, the last Sisters album is always the latest recording from the last gig, i.e. Crammerock at the moment ... ;D  ...

Probably somewhere during the 4 week pre-order the record company got it through their heads that this really wasn't the new Sisters album they were trying to sell and cancelled the whole thing. Most probably because no-one was buying! It does make one curious if stock was allready manufactured (and later destroyed)...

Still very funny to see a salessheet for the ssv project, and a very ugly sheet at that ;D

Thanx for the share, Burzum :notworthy:

I remember a friend telling me they'd read a review of the new Sisters album The Guardian, but they didn't save it, and couldn't remember any details (useless!), but later when I found out about SSV I realised this is what they'd have been reviewing, so presumably were sent some sort of review copy. Anyone remember reading the review, or have it even?

And the "go figure", is that a font? it looks familiar.

If Von wanted any comeback from EastWest, he would have scraped their throats.
