Steve Jobs

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Aye. I was an Apple fan(atic) for years after first laying fingers on an Apple IIc at a tender age; I've been a Mac girl since uni. Jobs was a genius, and was one of the very (very) few humans whom I've ever held in any sort of esteem. His vision will be horribly missed; it's the end of an era, I fear.

...and yeah, hi, it's me. Still alive and kicking. Woo.
I left my heart in Ballycastle...

A very strange way to end an obituary!

That pancreatic cancer is a right bugger.

Sad for the world to lose a true innovator.

You're back! Fantastic. Hope all is well.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

Thanks, man. All is...what it is.

You know, in spite of the serious political differences we've had in the past, I must say that I love your sig quote. :D
