he was this one who introduced me this nice place here
last summer we traded without problems. he added even some bonus cd-s
but later he sent me an e-mail where he explained he has problems. personal problems, so i didn't asked more.
and he hadn't looked the last message i sent him.
not sure was it a useful explanation for anybody or not.

And anyone who is waiting for me - my apologies!

My new work hours are rather unsociable and I still have a lack of certain items of hardware.

He seemed an OK guy to me, but now you mention it... It's been more than a month since his last posting on HL...

Now that's a cool avatar...

I received a similar email a few weeks back, probably on the date when you got yours. Unfortunately I have not heard back forr Lachert. Has anyone else had any luck?

He seemed like a nice guy, and others who have traded with him give him thumps up, but obviously I am unsure if I should send him anything if I am left in the dark for weeks on end. I hope that all is well with him.

Well, i've traded with this guy in may or april, and everything was OK.

Has anyone heard from lachert in the past few months? As noted above, I got a similar email like the one which allfear got, but nothing else came.

i think 2-3 weeks ago, he was a conttinious visitor of my server but the last 3 weeks there was no visit again. Think he is on holiday or something like that.

Mr P, i seem to remember Lachert writing something about not being able to Access HL since the update to the system. Apparently the desk top kept crashing on him

That would not explain him not replying to private emails. He seemed friendly enough, so I guess that he got tied up with something, maybe personal or work-related. I just hope that he is okay.

yes, he seemed to be a friendly guy.
if my memory serves me well it was already in the begining of January when he told me about problems in his life... didn't dare to ask what did he mean...

well yesterday my package arrived, a few CD-rs and a video, so he did honour my trade, though the video wasawful quality!!! It as belgium 98, looked like the video had been played on a TV then shot of a camcorder pointing at the TV!!!!!

I am glad to hear that he had resurfaced, albeit indirectly. Maybe he will get in touch with me as well. In the meantime, I have been dishing out to other traders the copies I made for him 6 months ago, but they can be copied again. In case he does not contact me, I still have Kassel 1993 and Athens 1997 burned for him, in case anyone is interested in those gigs. Not the best of quality, but also not the most common of gigs in circulation. I do not need two copies of them.

I got a parcel (2 videos) from him a couple of days ago.
Well, it took quite a long time but finally I got it.
Hope, everyhting is OK with him.
