isolation/division is the solo project of mat thorpe, aka m@ or (dead) matty.

for anyone that came to the last heartland meetup a couple of years ago he's the devilishly good looking chap with impeccable hair who DJd with me. he also DJs at sin city and club lash in manchester, plays bass with distorted pictures (with rob rhombus), and played bass for the march violets at their leeds 2007 homecoming gig. he's also a very good friend

a few of you on here might like it - especially anyone that loves the chameleons, or the dreamier, more introspective aspect of 80s alt guitar indie
