After a a long and fruitless think, spread over the ages of time ( well the last 2 mins ) i pose you this question.......
who were the best band to provide the music for a spot of Chicken Dancing ?.........
In my humble oppinion it was / is the Cramps....Who can forget the opening chords of The Crusher or Human fly....never failed to start a mad rash of human chickens.......Back in the...er...old days...

if we're talking true chicken dancing, then the arm flapping is a vital ingredient... in which case, yup. has to be the cramps.
or maybe the meteors or king kurt.
psychobilly is much more suited to all that elbow flapping that goth
but if we're talking goth arm waiving nonsence and "cherry picking" then it has to be children-era mish

The Cramps also have a song called 'Chicken' which is f*ckin' ace btw (can't remember which album it's on though).
They're doing a couple of gigs in September (Nottingham and London).
Anyone remember The Chicken Song by Spitting Image?

I dont know how you all feel about it - but I have always quite enjoyed "a wild stab in the dark" - I am sure you all know what I mean - for those who dont I mean SEX
