You'd be a bit miffed if you were in a band and it wasn't on the list

Huh. "Satanic imagery", of all the things they could've said.

no reference to nuns & prostitution (their name), drugs (most songs
) or even paganism (floorshow) & self harm (alice, a rock & a hard place -
kinda)

My favourites:
- Fog Hat: promotes immoral sex
- Frankie Goes to Hollywood: rebellion, songs about sex and sadomasochism, objectionable album art (Welcome to the Pleasure Dome), ruined Live Aid, homosexuality
- Pink Floyd: lyrics about rebellion
I particularly like the bit about Frankie "ruined Live Aid" -- they didn't even play! Or maybe that's the complaint?

They missed out Half Man Half Biscuit's Christian Rock Concert which (apparently) has backwards 'the body of Shane Fenton is in the laundry chute of the New Ambassadors Hotel near Euston Station'.

Siouxsie and the Banshees: recorded song "Sin in My Heart"
err....
Motörhead: crucifixion-themed album art
None of which you'd find in a church.
Ever.

Ah, but it says "false religion (Catholicism and Eastern Mysticism)." Catholics aren't really Christians at all, see? That's the kind of mentality we're dealing with.

The depths of depravity:
Birthday Party: indecipherable lyrics
Blink 182: tattoos
Alice Cooper: "School's Out" prevents mice from solving mazes
Impaler: eating raw meat on stage
Jimi Hendrix: hypnotizing people through music, voodoo rhythms
Ozzy Osbourne: scary face
New spin on an old libel:
Eagles: 'Hotel California' is a tribute to the Church of Satan, proven by COS founder Anton LaVey's picture inside the album cover.
Used to be Crowley, now it's LaVey. No, hang on, it's no-one. And the song's about dropping out.
Come to think of it, quite a few of these claims are probably actionable.
Even Christians are evil:
dc Talk: This so-called "Christian" Rock band is of the Devil. DC Talk's Kevin Max Says, "I'd love to hang out with him [Marylyn Manson]." They also promote Jesus as being a "freak."
Petra: falsely so-called "Christian" Rock band, cross-dressers, purported to be homosexuals.
P.O.D.: (Payable On Death) is another falsely so-called "Christian" Rock band. They blaspheme Jesus Christ with their "Rasta Jesus."
But they got one right:
Van Halen: extremely offensive and harsh sound, produces a spirit of hatred and anger
The writer's obviously subjected him- or herself to a lot of this perverted, sexual music in their research. Of course, they haven't enjoyed a minute of it and that's not the reason they keep going back for more.

Is it a real religious site or a parody? It's so hard to tell (cf.
Landover Baptist Church, which definitely
is a parody).
In fact, there's
Poe's Law which states
Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of fundamentalism that someone won't mistake for the real thing.

They can't even get the names right.
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Kill??
The "Satanic Imagery" reference for the Sisters may be related to the Body Electric cover (pope terror)? Or Vision Thing's eye of Horus??

...or something that exists entirely in their fevered imaginations.
I can just imagine someone sitting in his parents' basement, writing this crap, half getting their jollies and half fearful that god's watching him masturbate. (90%+ chance it is a "him" I think.)
