This is really a gem but never heard a proper version.I can't remember this one to be ever issued on a bootleg or something but might be wrong.
Good one anyway

I would love to have heard a finished version of Where Spirits Fly by the 84/85 version of the Sisters. I think only two versions exist from soundchecks (Guilford & Hamburg?) both in 84 & according to Gary it was never anything like a completed song, just a jam in soundchecks.
I know that Ghost Dance eventually recorded a good version but the Sisters could have recorded a great version IMO.
anyone knows if the Sisters ever recorded those lyrics?

I recall Gary saying somewhere (might have been the Ghost Dance forum) that there were no lyrics to Spirits, and that they hadn't thought of it as a song in that sense, until he decided to record it with GD.
