Online hearing test

I've started to notice some whining in my ears, and decided to look for a test online. Can't hear a thing above 14khz, which rather terrifies me after testing with perfect hearing a few years ago, and that was after mandatory military service with a lot of practise shooting. I guess I've really f**ked up.

How do you make out?

~18k - sounds not very pleasant.
Can't hear a thing above 14khz
You might get bad results if your speakers/soundcard/software might not play higher frequencies properly. Your daily form and stress level might also affect the results.

Not to forget the aging:

This chart shows the age-depending (Jahre=years) frequency response of the human ear up to 10khz - kinda sad to see what's expecting us sooner or later

I can't wait until my hearing deteriorates  I don't know why, my hearing should be f**ked up, but it's not, and it's such a pain in the a$s to be the only one with functioning ears among all my half deaf 30+ friends.

Be careful what you wish for.

And mine's a shocking 13 whatsit before I hear any whiney whistles - but who wants to hear them anyway?

:notworthy:

I fell a little better now, since the horrible noise only starts at 16Khz...

I wonder where the other 4Khz went... :innocent:
