Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

Channel 4's excellent Dispatches programme promised to lift the lid on the shady world of ticket reselling.

I would love to meet the person who would/could stump up this....
(£539 was quoted for a Coldplay ticket, for instance)
they would have to be very weary of life!!

I would like to say I'm shocked, but not a lot surprises me these days.
I didn't see the program & will see if it's around to watch online somewhere.

I'd prolly shell out for the Coldplay ticket if only to protect some poor sod from having to endure that shower of s**t.

Good, there's eventually at least report on TV about this ... ...
It was not easy to find a ticket for The Sisters' gig in London at a half-way normal price ...

However, most British TV programmes are not available in "my" idiot country ... :urff:  ...

Nah, my advice if looking for london concert tickets would be to check Gumtree to see if anyone wants to offload any urgently because of life events etc..

I ended up getting a pair of Simple Minds tickets for last Friday's gig for less than face value (and no sarky comments please..)

... like those sellers in front of the venue ... they didn't have much chance, just like the day before with The Damned ...

Gumtree, aha. Never heard of that, so thanks for the hint... :)

Fortunately I had got a ticket on Ebay for not soo high a price ...
still more expensive than normal, though nothing compares to missing one's plane at Gatwick ... *sigh
