the guy is denying he's hacker by claiming he's an fbi operative/informer? and he's denying he's a "pervert" paedophile by claiming he was doing some fbi research?

whatever.

let's weigh this up:

1) he's a hacker = scum
2) he's an fbi grass = scum
3) he's a paedophile = scum

lock him up and throw away the key :urff:

A serious question and maybe a slight aside, but wasn't being a hacker once almost a respected thing to be - at least among some communities?

So what's gone wrong...is there no such thing as 'respectable' hacking these days?

I deffo remember in about '83/'84 there used to be a column in one computer mag I used to read by 'The Happy Hacker' (if I remember rightly) who eventually also published a book about it all? Would anyone here admit they've ever been involved?

Only interested really cuz I always wanted to be the bloke outta 'War Games'..."This is not an exercise" etc. Aaaah, those halcyon days of the Cold War...
