I have 3 different vinyl versions of Body and Soul, and all 3 during the guitar parts have a very upfront electrostatic noise.

Does anyone have a good explanation why this is happening?

Bad pressings? Just listened and can't hear it. However, I'd never noticed before how much it sounds like early Sisters, especially Phantom.
