Someone who could help Von get some new songs?

I've been to see The March Violets a few times recently, including DV8 yesterday. They have some brilliant new songs which are Violets songs for the 21st century.
They use a drum machine to underpin their sound just like The Sisters.
Could Si be the man to help
get some new songs and who knows maybe even an album?

Si's not written for The Violets for 26 years but now he's back and he's got songs to prove it. Maybe enough to convince
that it could work.

Yes, I know but I PROMISE to limit it to the merits of Mr Denbigh and not open up the general debate once again.

Successfully limiting the debate or a new record?
or both?

I really doubt that would be a reason to do anything more than neverending best of tours.
After all he works for several years with Ben and Chris and they're working using DIY idea. Yes i know TSOM, for some reason, deserve to have better standard, forgetting that if anyone would like to put pile of money, he/she would like to have some evidence that this invest would at least cover expenses.
oops, i forgot to limit it to Siii

Ben and Chris are nice guys who fill their roles on tour well but the music they write in their own bands seems a million miles from the original Sisters sound.
However Si is a similar age to
, with many musical influences in common. I believe a collaboration as The Sisters would produce a record true to the original spirit.
I should have asked him when I was asking him when the new Violets album will be finished.
Seeing him again next Saturday in Leeds support the Furs. Might just have to summon up my courage and ask him.

If I understood you correct, you want that this theorecital coallaboration to bring song/album like first singles, if yes then I'm against that, I want to see all artists, not only TSOM, making progress and not re-working their own stuff, searchng and exploring, even if it costs mistakes.
I mentioned about Ben and Chris not on level of writing music, but how you can record music nowadays. (And I forgot that Siii released album using plege.)

I don't want a reworking of Body Electric but if the starting position is the sound of the Stooges/Velvets/Suicide with some Bowie thrown in thats got to be good.

I'll get on the phone with
today and ask him how he feels about it. I'm almost 100% sure he will love it. New album next year!
