Probably I'm the only one who did'n't knew this not ?
I found this, I've never heard about that
Andrew Eldritch from Sisters of Mercy provided the vocals for the German interlude in the song

Bleurgh! That was just plain awful, imho - the song
and the vid. Brightman's voice sounded thin and forced, and the lyrics simply stank.
YMMV, of course.

Die Welt ein Tor
Zu tausend Wüsten
Stumm und kalt
Wer das verlor,
Was du verlorst
Macht nirgends halt ...
So far about Von's part in it ...

He's got more Ivor Novellos than Freud.

Remarkably, since Nietzsche died in August 1900.

Yep. It's actually amazing they have any time left for touring & interviews, what with all that "recording" they're doing.

6. The technology in music has changed considerably since 1981 when the Sisters came. This evolution has changed the way you make music?
It made no difference, because in 1981 I was very good in the art of editing tapes. Today this work is much simpler with computers, but I was already doing it then, I was using echo units to work as samplers, before samplers were invented. So the technology facilitated but did not change my ways, honestly. What made a difference was Photoshop, because I do a lot of graphic art, and my life is now much easier with Photoshop and Illustrator. I do lot of work with web servers, just because I like to understand how these things work, I have many computers and spend a lot of time playing with digital codes. But I spend more time with computers and watching movies than actually making music.
I think that explains it all .... he's not better off than most of us ...

Sarah Brightman was in Hot Gossip!? I never would have known that!
I would love to know the circumstances that brought
to add his dulcet tones to that particular piece! Surely the thought of that being your last bit of recorded work would be enough to spur him towards the studio (or perhaps this is another example of irony?!)

I think it's not that bad but one might to be in the right mood to bear this kind of "90s pop"
