Is it just me or does this songs main riff sound very familiar to a certain Reptile House song? A little too familiar perhaps...

The first bar or two are certainly using the same riff, but after that it no longer sounds like Fix.

But even The Reptile House was not entirely original. Not only is the drum machine intro of this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23m3YYlYJac like a slightly slowed down version of a certain Queen classic, but the main guitar counterpoint riff (eg at exactly one minute into the song) is exactly the same note sequence as that sung by Freddie in the same song !

It transcends FIX in almost every level. Electric Wizard are brilliant

I can't believe I never noticed that before... A lovely counterpoint to the the song! I'll never be able to listen to it without thinking of Freddy!

We will rock you.
But i never noticed that until Nikolas Vitus Lagartija pointed this out.
And btw, as it was mentioned here, also drum (machine) beat of
one song from "Floodland" is strangely similar to Led Zep
song.
