Artworks...

Sometimes I just can't stop myself to do some drawings...
Today I finished this one and thought to share it with you:
Andrew 1991
Would be nice to hear some feedback cause I'm never satisfied with my work in the end... I'm always thinking that I have to change this or that to make it look better...
Sorry for the bit blurry picture but I don't own a scanner that size and taking a photo with flashlight isn't the best way I learned today

Wow, great drawing ...
...
* there's something slightly wrong with the perspective ... uhm, and the proportions ... but still - you're quite good at drawing ...

It's difficult to catch a likeness with faces. You have. That is definitely Eldritch. I also remember wearing two pairs of black stretch jeans - one ragged and one new - back in 1991.
Well done.
If I was being very critical, the left hand looks a bit too 'well fed'. That's not a characteristic of a 1991 Eldritch IIRC.

it's always bit tricky and risky to do artworks, but that one is OK.

Very talented ! I'm more the Wimpy Kid school of illustration myself. I know he's small, but is the distance of his lower leg from knee to floor really that small ?

Woooow, I'm really surprised about so much feedback!
Thanks a lot!!!!
I'll try to make his left hand look a bit skinnier, haven't noticed that so far.
For the perspective and the propotions I'll added the link to the original photo, I think I got it not that bad:

But thanks to you all for the nice words and also for the critics! You are the best!

I can't believe that no one knows this website with the Karpenberg photos!
I thought that all and everything about the Sisters is known here and can be found in this forum!
Hell, that rocks to show something new here... So I have kind of welcome gift for all of you

Never seen those pics either. So great to see the band in daylight with the keyboard player, there's not much of those around...
And Tim Bricheno... I always loved him being in the band.
Keep up the good work

I had some time this week for another drawing cause I'm having the flu... hope you like this one, it's drawn on white paper with a black coal pencil, size about 40x60cm:

Incredible work, great coal art
Is it easy to make the eyes under the shades with a piece of coal?

It's a kind of coal pencil so it wasn't that hard to draw it. But I wasn't satisfied with the first 5 or 6 tries to draw the eye so it took some time with a lot of touching up, draw a line, erase a line and so on... I'm still not THAT happy with the result of the eye behind the shades but hey, it could be worse... I also had the problem with the lips, I've drawn and erased them a hundred times... okay, only 6 or 7 times but it feels like a hundred and more
Thanks a lot to all the nice feedback! It feels quite good that's not only me who likes the drawing
I guess I could start another one soon

I would like to mention the most positive point in this drawing, it is something that by my view of art is the difference between drawing something and photography it points partly a photograph, it is not the whole photography as it was taken, it has its own nicely given fades
If it was just a whole picture made with coal pencils it would be a drawing disaster not such good as this one is.
Thank you for sharing

Wow, thanks a lot!!!
I thought it would be a bit boring with too much black from all the hat and the cloak... but wasn't sure how it will come out in the end with the faded black parts. But in the end I'm quite happy with the result...
I have to buy a frame today I guess... and need free space on my walls...

Don't know if this counts as artwork, but I worked on a Sisters-Look for my nails... I have sometimes this kind of stupid ideas...
I was a bit in a funny springtime mood when I chose the colour but hey, the Head and Star logo worked quite fine I guess:

Those aren't nails. They're talons
