Just wondering if any other heartlanders frequented the Sulpher site, (I know some did) and, if so, whether they have any idea where it's gone?

WTF are sulpher (and I figure it has nothing to do with the chemical substance).
But, don't bother answering if you can answer yes to ANY of the following...
1) They are a bunch of dodgy darkling wannabe's that are cool.
2) They wear black, therefore, they are cool.
3) They are devoid of musical talent and wit, but wear black, so are cool.
4) They are cool.
Thanks,
CB

They could be the band that toured all round Europe with The Sisters.
But then you'd know that, eh Bux?

Hmmm Mr. Bux...
Sulpher is Rob Holliday and Monti. First issue was Spray. I happen to like it a lot. The music sort of sucks you in with a gentle caress and then suddenly assaults your senses. Lyrics and music combined make for a great listen, which I relate to at an emotional level. IMHO it's wonderful.
I hope their forthcoming effort is just as good and that they will cross the pond for some gigs so I can go meet Rob. He likes my poetry! And if the site ever comes back up you can go read the poetry I posted there for yourself.

Useless fact #53216 : Monti used to drum for Curve.

Well, regardless of whether you like them or not (Haven't made up my mind personally) the pertinent point is the Sisters connection.
Which you'd have thought Bux may have spotted.
If I had my cynical hat on I'd call Sulpher a second rate nin. But I don't.

They probably are...but everyone has a sound they like.
And I also go for lyrics, and in this case I like Rob's lyrics. That goes a long way for me in deciding what I like to listen to..
Same goes for Zodiac......God.. what take me to bed lyrics....I Love them.
But yeah...Bux should have known they opened for the Sisters in Europe

Can we ban the anacronym IMHO from this website please?
It just sits so uncomfortably with being (ahem) fans of a group which sings stuff like "listen this is the way it was, etc etc".
And CB, a healthy dis-interest in the smaller details of the dis-integration of the band formerly known as the sisters of mercy is no bad thing. In my considered, well judged, and the-only-one-worth-listening-to, opinion.

Ok pop tarts,
I'm back, did ya miss me? Obviously, by the looks of things
Yeah, I probably should have know that, but then again, the last support band I can actually remember seeing/hearing/being aware of was in 1990, 2 drummers I seem to recall, not much else though...
Still, it's a good job I don't go around having good ideas (not all the time anyway) or some of you f*ckers would have nailed me to a tree by now...
