I know a lot of people hear love the original version of RFH from
Gift and the "Ben showcase" live version of recent years, but I wonder what you'll make of this latest remix from the same guy who did great club mixes of
Marian, Flood II + Alice about a year ago :

He's also done a slower remix :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoW1P7hC ... ng&index=4
which is arguably even better. From the comments on the latter I note that
@DocSommer is already a fan - always a good sign - so I thought I'd share the links here.

Cool! I like the faster one even better, and both better than the recent live versions ....
:notworthy: ...
The endings are somewhat unsatisfactory, but all in all ...
Hell, imagine a new studio production of the song like this with Eldritch's voice mixed slightly more into the foreground ...

Exactly my first thoughts on hearing it. As
wrote the lyrics and music, there's not even the same issues that there are with the Pearson era stuff. Add in
Still, Arms, Come Together, War on Drugs and Far Parade (!) plus a couple of the covers and that's yer fabled new album sorted !

Some new remixes/mash-ups from the same source :
Black Planet/Giving Ground

Suzanne

Train

Heartland

In the absence of live dates/new songs, this kind of high quality tinkering will do very nicely for me

I'm not sure you can improve on perfection, but this is a decent attempt at remixing Emma :

Should have added that
@newchlochim has also added an EBM remix of the demo version of A Rock and A Hard Place :

It's already been released - didn't you know? Comes in boxes of 10, with "Maxell" written on the front.

Too bad there aren't any vocals on this.
