That band from Leeds, any news or live?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Latest news is as follows:

Von is holed up in his flat surrounded by cats, 80s computer magazines and his collection of Japanese porn.

Chris is off playing sweaty rock'n'roll in sweaty pubs to sweaty punters.

Ben is practising Bon Jovi songs in front of a mirror with a hairbrush. He's currently halfway through their second LP.

The Doktor is beside a swimming pool in LA having absconded with all of the band's groupies, drugs and money.

As soon as they can be bothered having Interpol hunt down, find and bring back the Doktor (or Ben runs out of Bon Jovi LPs, whichever comes first), they've got the groupies, drugs and money to work their way through. Which may take some time, but when those run out they'll probably tour again.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I always put Andy Taylor down as my +1 for The Marching Men gigs so he's welcome to come do a duet with us!

He's not joking. It's become part of his pre-gig ritual. Usually a few minutes after the third countermeasure has kicked in. Even when we're not in Leeds.

His delightful (and I do mean that) other half is down as the drummer's +1. It's safer that way.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

They could do Far Parade. Then if we ever get to hear the real version we can see how far off the mark they are.

Only after we've done: The Replicant House EP, False And Last And Always, Fake - A Festival of Resemblance (copyists from under the rock), Faux-Land and Revisionist Thing.

Also it could be named "A slight case of overclocking" to pay tribute to computers :notworthy:
