Any pro-Sisters proagan- ...erm... publicity is good.

Maybe it'll encourage someone to give Eldritch a worldwide distribution deal. Oh, who am I kidding?

That is literally the only reason I'm considering going to see this movie.

Thanks for sharing this ! Well done !
The guy even wears the same Vision Thing-pendant like mine.
It's the pendant Eldritch said to me "This is lovely" while touching it at the bar of Leeds Metropolitan Univesity 2 years ago after the first night (16/2). I didn't know a Vision Thing logo t-shirt was for sale after the second night (17/2) ...
So many things come back after a while in one way or another ...
We keep on going and look forward to the next one to arrive ...

He's tweeting the lyrics to Marian this morning
Simon Pegg ‏@simonpegg 1m
"In a see of faces, in a see of doubt. In this cruel place your voice above the maelstrom."

You have too much money.

Edgar Wright has now described this as "a quest with an extremely irresponsible King Arthur at the helm." I think that's a pretty good title for a Sisters fan :P

The problem with this movie...

Well, where do I start?
  1. It looks from the trailers pretty much like a remake of Shaun of the Dead.
  2. Simon Pegg in a Sisters T-shirt isn't cool, it's embarrassing.
  3. Simon Pegg isn't cool, he's embarrassing.
    I could go on...

Am just doing the maths for those of us of a similar vintage to Mr Pegg who like to sport the head and star. At least he didn't wear one in Run, Fat Boy, Run.

Hey, I'm also "similar vintage" to him. It's not the t-shirt I'm objecting to. ;D

I've lost the plot a bit here

Is the suggestion that the film would be better if :-

a) Mr Pegg didn't wear the T-shirt
b) Someone else wore the T-shirt or
c) The film was just about TSOM merchandise

I have no objection to anyone wearing a Sisters T-shirt in general. I have a few myself.

However, I find Simon Pegg tiresome, and I find the sort of dodgy darkling he appears to be portraying in this film to be embarrassing.

Aye, understand where you're coming from about Simon Pegg - he always seems to try too hard. At least the film might raise the band's moribund profile a wee bit.

"moribound profile" ... :notworthy:  ... just because they don't play gigs this year ... ...

Hell, the world oughta long be used to that without weeing ... ;D ...

If anyone's interested - there's an interview with Simon Pegg in this months Q magazine where he selects the soundtrack of his youth. And one of his choices is 'Marian' & talks about a goth girl that he fancied as a teenager...

Oh yes! :D Finally the last of the Trilogy! :)

I find Simon very amusing, I love his humor and bit of overacting... Tho that alien-movie (Adam?) was pish.

Really looking forward to this!

He has often talked about being a goth or a nerd, his most one of his tweets I saw said 'You know you're an old school goth when you call The Sisters of Mercy This Corrosion as their new stuff right kids?!'

Edit: The movie you're thinking of is Paul (the alien one also with Nick Frost)
