I'm a bit puzzled by the inclusion of Lord Summerisle in the list of baddies. He's not the baddy! I always cheer at the end of The Wicker Man.

Is it just me?

Not at all! my favourite bit is when edward woodward starts singing the 23rd psalm in a booming calvanist style as the whol;e thing goes up. his vbile policeman deserves all he gets.

oh yesss agree...Gary Oldman as Stansfield - absolute class

but also for me, these are pretty memorable that are not on the list:

Ben Kingsley's character Don in Sexy Beast

HAL in A Space Odyssey !!

and Robert Mitchum in Night of the Hunter - his best ever role IMHO
