Grant Showbiz interview

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

There is a brief mention of the Sisters in this otherwise interesting interview of Grant Showbiz - who used to be the Smiths live sound engineer -, as well as one of the very few public photos of Eldritch without the shades...

Scroll down about half way through the page if you want to skip the rest of the interview.

A lovely interview and an interesting read, generally. Thanks for posting, Isind ... :notworthy:

J: Andrew Eldritch? Yes but he has lost his hair now. And hair was so important, with the hat and the dry ice.

G: Ah! The dreaded hair. Such a nightmare when you base your career on hair.

So, there is a life after hair ... ;D ...

You're welcome! :)
I thought there must be quite a few Smiths fans on this board, and it's not the first time both bands are mentioned in the same thread around here.

PS : Being645, my username is Lsind, not Isind (it stands for liquid sphere industries). My fault, I should have used an uppercase L instead of the lowercase l when registering...[/b]
