I assume you just accidentally stumbled across the page, @Pista. Seems a bit weird having a Centre for Gothic Studies in Manchester though. What next, a Faculty of Baggy at Leeds ?

It was in a tweet as it goes.
Seems a bit weird having a centre for gothic studies anywhere really.
I wasn't sure if it was a joke at first.

Thanks for the media spot. 8)

Hope it's clear this doesn't JUST focus on a daft musical subculture from the Eighties that has yet to die a death!

Really enjoyed that summary, thanks @Tim. Hopefully more of the kind of stuff they were lecturing on will end up in the course one day. Will put the distance-learning option for the M.A. on my Bucket List for when I retire ...
