Anyone know anything about professional quality A3+ photo printers? Been looking at Epson Stylus Photo R3000 or Canon Pixma PRO-10 but need advice.

I need something that will print professional-quality 10x8 photographs on fine art papers to sell.

Now that's a conincidence. I'm in the same boat. At this point I'm leaning towards the Epson because it apparantely does better Black an white which will be my main output. I've also heard that Epson is much better at working with third party fine art papers.....there has also been crticism of the Canon because when using fine art papers it will force a border of at least 3cm on the print itself (this cannot be reversed with software).

A disadvantage with the Epson is that when printing black and white you have to change the ink cartridge from mat to gloss ink when respectively printing mat or gloss paper. Does n't sound like a problem but you will lose roughly 3mm of ink withh every change...quite expensive.

Anyway from what I've heard both printers are generally great and I can't wait to buy one......you go first and tell me what it's like :innocent: :D

Book an appointment with Canon, in my experience they are very open to 'one offs', not only that they have allas led the way.
