Vinyl FALAA currently standing at £31.00 with 5 days to go!

It's the 'Spanish' edition ...am I missing something here or is the only difference the fact that it says 'Made in Spain' :urff:

That does seem a little silly - the spanish edition isn't the nice big fold out gatefold one is it? Cos that ones quite nice looking.

Stupid price even if it is.

You are old. :-)

Us kids'll pay a lot for that "extra bit of cardboard"

I pity your children ;-)
"I'm not paying twenty pounds for a furry yellow rat, even if it does shoot lighting out of it ass" etc etc.

Too bloody right! The youth of today have no concept of value and fail to appreciate the worth of anything. It's my 8-year old son's birthday on Monday and he'll get what I got for my 8th birthday. Forget all the shiney, silvery, walking, talking things. He'll get a piece of string. And hours of fun to be had with it too.

PS: I'm pretty sure my FALAA is gatefold too and always assumed it was the norm? I'm sure it's UK but as it's in the attic 80 miles away it's a bit difficult to confirm.

If it's the original mixes (rather than those on the 92 "remaster") and in good nick, I could kinda understand a little.

The other day I spent a tenner on a tour programme which I already had, just because it was signed by Herr Eldritch. Figured I might cut the page out, frame it or something. Shall we call this confessions corner?

Actually it was my Swiss Zodiac, High Priest of Love! Next time round maybe the smalls! ;) Maybe I can get Andy to autograph them for me when I rush him on stage!

The gatefold version of the LP was a limited edition. I've never heard of a special spanish edition, but, hey, maybe I've missed something.

I once bought a promo version LP of Floodland, for money that I could have spent on hot baths and massage. The only thing that differed from the regular version was that the cover and the label was completely black. I have grown up since  I think 8)

Yes I did. Almost fell off my chair. So does that lend any creedence to the Von Is Gay rumours? With a name like that I just cant help but wonder... :?

Is this a new sport, over-excited Ebay-nerd spending-too-much-dough watching? If so, we might end up with a few of our own number in our notebooks. I have my moments, too. Some of us use our Heartland names, but many of us DON'T...

It a jolly good sport! I was just amazed that it jumped from £18  to £26  in the last minute.

As for using Heartland names or aliases ...each to their own. I certainly wouldn't want to broadcast the fact that I bought a pink vinyl, Japanese pressing of Damge Done for £200, thinking it was one of the original 1000 ...

Hahahahahaha, good on you! So you're a jolly good sport, too, for telling us! I take it you didn't know it was pink vinyl when you bought it???

Simple being the operative word, on my part. I'm talking a lot more nonsense lately, especially as I approach Gonzoid status. Oh, there I go again...
