Some of you may remember her as the singer of goth legends Faith and the muse. She has released 3 solo albums , "infrawarrior" was released while still in FatM and is the least interesting of all 3.
"Naiades" was released in 2012 and though i was a bit skeptical about bying it, the book edition seemed far too beautiful to pass it by. "Naiades" turned out a true masterpiece, the record that should bring Dead Can Dance of their first era fans, back from oblivion. mystical sounds, beautiful vocals, tribal drums, but also on 2 occasions some realy good guitars , the album sums up all the good parts of FatM and as for the artwork, its one ofthe most luxurious items i possess. A real beauty.

In September "Kindred" was released but since i was part of the supporters, the special version was delayed and arrived only last week but hell, it was worth the wait.
"Kindred" starts of in a similar vein to "naiades" for the first 3 songs but after that it takes a turn, far more electronic with deep synth sounds with some realy awesome basslines. It s not as homogen as "naiades" but it s more exciting. It has taken over the cd player but it also plays constantly in my head, this is just awesome.
Just listen to "speak" , this is as good as a song can get.

With the exception of some instruments (strings, guitar, bass) she does everything herself including the production , the songs sound awesome even if you hear them through the dodgy speakers of a laptop but they show all the beauty if you listen through a proper stereo at a bit loud volume, a real experience!
I realy hope some of you will give her a chance and just listen to the songs.
It s a shame to pass her by.
