( sorry if it's a re-run)

Your first four albums you remember loving which still are part of your favorites and in use ( if any).
please, indicate your country if you don't mind it.
Thanks.

My iTunes says...

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (1979)
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit from Rotting Vegetables (1980)
The Comsat Angels - Waiting for a Miracle (1981)
Wah! - Nah = Pooh - The Art of Bluff (1981)

They all get played at least once a week, as for me, it's timeless music.

Was England, but for the last eight years Germany.

well if we're going back to the very begining, the first two albums i owned (apart from a wombles lp and "pinky and perky have a party") were:

1. kings of the wild frontier -adam and the ants
2. prince charming -adam and ants.

prince charming is a dreadful pile of old mebollocks, but kings of the wild frontier -which i won for collecting the most bob-a-job money in the cub scouts !!!- is still great and gets an outing once a month or so.
then for my 12th birthday i got

3: the number of the beast- iron maiden
4: back in black -ac/dc
5: rainbow rising
6: wheels of steel -saxon.

apart from growing out of saxon within the next couple of years the other three albums are still in my top 10 favourite albums EVER...not to mention being three of the cornerstones of modern rock music. :notworthy:

:von: was apparently a massive fan of Rainbow Rising in his schooldays but until VT it doesn't seem to have had any influence on TSOM.
