Did Andrew & Patricia have a relationship together?

Patricia used to say she had only a sister-brother relationship with Andrew but I'm not convinced, the way they looked together during the Floodland era of the Sisters so close to each other, makes me doubt.

Can u people clarify this?

Patricia Morrison was asked about that in an interview
she gave in 1994 to German ZILLO magazine.
She laughed and said Forget it, there was nothing.

I read in an interview with Patricia in Bakers and Baking Digest (the trade magazine for...well, you can probably work it out) where she said that Andrew was the most sensitive lover that she'd ever had, to the extent that when they were breaking up he offered to fill himself with jam and cover himself in powdered sugar if it would make her happy. Apparently for her birthday he once covered himself in blackberries and apples, rolled himself up in pastry, and baked himself at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Sounds like love to me.

Flippin' hair-splitters - it would only be 35 minutes if you're cooking at higher altitudes, and recent changes to air travel regulations mean that a dim view is taken of baking in the aisles - apparently it can interfere with the aircraft's navigation systems.

Naah, I reckon (s)he's a troll from The Court of the Queen of Greggs to precipitate more doughnut-related comments so that Her Flabjesty could come and throw a strop like she did last time. That was funny.

Andrew Eldritch
Digs A Ditch - each week he goes up to a group of expectant Sisters of Mercy fans and digs a ditch in front of them, explaining that he does this rather than releasing a new record because of disagreements with his label that they neither understand or care about. Hilarity doesn't ensue.

In some 'gothic rock' mag I bought way back when, which contained an interview with the gruesome twosome at Montreux (yes, that long ago) the question was posed. I can't recall which one responded but the answer was something along the lines of 'People assume that's the only reason (we're together professionally.)'

Would anyone work for someone for 50p and a derriere-enhancing cheese-mayo roll a week if the relationship was strictly professional?

its not like she had to do a lot is it? mime-along-a-chart-show, go on holiday to the middle east and look fit. i'd do that for 50p and a cup-a-soup if they provided the nice leather frocks. ;D
