another totally unique talent lost. an utter genius that few would dare copy (if they even could) who has inspired so many. RIP.

... but parts of his early works I found far enough off mark that I found genius and artisanship neglectible and nearly missed the Alien things he did as well. I wouldn't want to judge what he deserved or not, but I share his approach of no rebirth, please. HR was a fookin legend, what a beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
On a work trip to Switzerland i slept in the same bed as Giger once. (not while he was in it you understand). i was hoping to wake up infected with a xenomorphic lifeform, but nope all i had was a bloody hangover.
