it's years since i heard anyone doing that! I remember when people started drinking, if they didnt like the taste, the advice was to add a dash of blackcurrent. A more logical suggestion might have been to try something else but in those days, when u could smell St James Gate along the Liffey, it'd be a brave man or woman to suggest it!

Ah I never recovered from adding the purple stuff. And it made it look so much better. Aesthetics in a drink is a major consideration. ahem.
