Very sad to hear that
A true rock'n'roll legend is now completely gone ...
I will ever remember their gigs I've seen in the eighties "One, two, three" and then more than one hour of powerful music with the band members, opposite to the audience, seeming not to move at all besides playing their instruments.
RIP

Am so lucky to have seen them 4 times , 3 times in Leeds at Leeds Uni, Leeds Town & Country club and Leeds Refectory and once at Manchester Academy.
Best gigs ever for atmosphere where no one stands still.
RIP Tommy
Thanks for the memories.

just saw a tweet by Tony James (with a picture of tony james) -retweeted by HL- saying "R.I.P. Tommy" and misread it as being "R.I.P Tony" and thought James was dead! maybe not the greatest sister ever but i'm not ready to start seeing ANY of the girls past or present get put underground. nearly had a heart-attack myself.
