i'm sure -as in i can actually remember when- it used to be possible to edit posts for some time after posting them. now it seems that this is only possible when the post is still the latest post in a given thread -ie when it's posssible to delete said post. can someone plese tell me why? (not that i've got anything to hide, not me guv'nor no...) :?:

We stuck a time-limit on editing quite some time ago, as someone (I forget who now) had been making offensive comments and then editing their posts after the fact to cover their tracks.

I think you can edit for about 15 minutes after posting?

No other way to edit a post still? Just wanted to add the article date to this.
