FPL GW1: Preview, update and review (Deadline: 11:30 16Aug)
Posted: 15 Aug 2014, 18:38
And so begins the long and winding road.
For those of you who have played Fantasy Premier League (FPL) before, you'll know what I'm talking about. For those of you who haven't, welcome.
It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.
However, whilst we're all playing for our own personal glory, we have the added incentive of:
Industrial Groove Machine vs. Eleven Imaginary Boys
In all my years of Fantasy Football, this is the first inter-forum FPL challenge that I've ever been involved in. So we're making history, in our own special way.
The main HL FPL thread will remain throughout the season, as I'm sure the TCC one will. However, GW threads will alternate between forums.
As soon as this one is done and dusted, it will be locked as per McFIFA and TCC will host the next. And vice versa.
HLers are under no obligation to cross-over (and can sit here talking to themselves), just as TCCers are under obligation to cross-over (and can sit there talking to themselves) during alternate GWs.
But it would be nice if you made the effort. Because some of us have made the effort for you.
I look forward to seeing some new faces on HL over the GW which will extend from Saturday to Monday due to the Premier League schedule.
Good luck all!
