On Amazon there is a book, in French, "Napalm, Amphetamines et Misericorde" about the Sisters.

Have any of the French speaking contingent read it? Is it any good?

Not bad but anything really news in this book

Regarding the "Napalm,Amphétamines et Miséricorde" book:

In 1993 "The camion Blanc" french book brand label just started and they wanted to do a book regarding the Sisters as it wasn't exist any book in French.
They contact me and ask to help as they got nearly nothing as documents and need stuffs.
I had done and send them photocopies of my cuttings and give lot of informations and all photos appearing on this book first edition, from negatives and from all period (now all of this appearing onto the internet with time).
There's no rare items pics onto the book as I have refused to send them my rare material by postal way as they wanted to scan themselves.
The first edition of the book come out in 1994 at 1000 copies.
The second edition of the book come out in 2005 and "The Camion Blanc" had change all pics and used the superb ones from Philippe Carly photographer.
I including a pic with the black and white unrealised test book with the cover we have choose at first (Andy with the hat). But they have prefer a 1990 period pic of there choice for the first edition with yellow writing.
The second edition was with the black and white philippe Carly cover.

Interesting that you say there wasn't a book in French. More surprising really is the fact that there still isn't a decent book on TSOM in English after all these years.

I was gushing about Mr. AE to a friend (a friend I've since managed to infect with my Sisters love), and he asked "is there a decent biography of the chap out? If not, you could write one". I told him not to put ideas in my head; and after all, people must have offered to write either his or a sisters bio at some points in the past couple of decades...

i was asked to proof read one a few years back. and very good it is too. if it ever gets published.. 200pgs or thereabout

When I first started my blog about being a fan of TSOM in the early days I was pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors the page received. Only when I looked into the terms my readers had searched for did I realise that a lot of those who had typed in the keywords "teenage sisters" would have found my pompous and turgid account of a 1983 gig at the Nottingham Boat Club something of an, erm, anti-climax.
