FPL GW11: Preview, update and review (Deadline 08 Nov 11:30)

It's that time again Boys and Girls, but firstly, thanks to Mark :notworthy: for holding the fort whilst I was otherwise involved in real life. :|

But we move on...

We welcome the Jo Brand lookalikes to Heartland Stadium for GW11, but obviously hope to kick their arses at the same time.

All is fair in Love and War, and FPL.

Whilst looking at the League Table, it's heartening to see four Sisters in the Top Five. Just as it is disheartening to see three Sisters in the bottom five. And a lot of mid-table wallowing. :(

As always, your Head Coach wants you all to be your own (wo)man. It's your team after all. Some of yous have asked for advice; some of yous have accepted unsolicited advice. Some of yous have shot up the table. Some of yous think you know better.

But always remember IGM is a Team. If you need a healing hand, there's always one available via me, or Mav787.

So, I'll end with this week's team-talk before we go into battle:
Johnny Rev 7.0 wrote:So you all will know the seriousness of my warning, I shall say this in English.

As your Head Coach, I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic.

If you're unconvinced that a particular transfer I've suggested is the wisest, tell me so, but allow me to convince you and I promise you right here and now, no subject will ever be taboo.

Except, of course, the subject that was never under discussion.

The price you pay for bringing up either my British or German heritage as a negative is... me and Mav787 take over your team.

Now, if any of you sons of bitches got anything else to say, now's the fucking time!

Let's rock!
Finalised my bunch last night once I knew the situation after the mid week matches.
Total change in formation & looks like a strong squad.
Time to climb.

Oooh. That rhymes. :D

I thought that this was supposed to be a bit of fun. Do we really need to take it all so seriously?

Umm... it is.

What drugs are you on tonight?

I'm sure it is for you guys who seem to effortlessly manage fifty points per week ! I find the optimism drains away with injuries in the warm up, fifty-ninth minute substitutIons, last minute sending-offs and clean-sheet-busting consolation goals. Still, it's a marathon, not a sprint (shame in a way - I was doing pretty well in the sprint).

Not really.
I have Speroni in my squad.
Can that possibly be serious? :D

My team has yellow hooped socks, no way can that be classed as serious!

So Costa's starting for Chelski today then.

I saw this great story earlier.
Any racing fans want a flutter on the 12.40 at Doncaster.
Gerrard's Slip is running.

:D

And that's why goal line technology is important. 8)

That's my team up and running thanks to the "oh so tired hamstrung" Diego Costa.

Blimey.
Glad I got shot of Dzeko now.
60 seconds on the field & he gets knacked.

Guess who still has him in his team.

Ooops.
I shed him a couple of weeks back.
Was expecting great things of him, but it's a shorter time to roast a turkey over a candle than wait for him to score a goal this season
