Wow, starting a thread before you've even got something to say. Is that some sort of record?

I should think not. Unless you mean the great 'first time today' record.

oh i'm more than happy to deal with this mr chairman.
dear god. this really is a f**k-up of a topic isn't it? as if these tedious favourite film/book/colour/ice-cream flavour threads aren't bad enough on their own, we now have people having the temerity to start them without even having given the subject any thought.
but then it gets worse...
joeybear actually gave the subject due consideration before he/she wrote:erm??

dear god. fifty-four hours and fifty-five minutes passed between your going away to think about this and you producing that list. fifty-four hours and fifty-five minutes for you to consider the output of a hundred-odd years of cinema and you
start your list with "drop dead fred"??? even rik mayall thinks that film sucks and he starred in it! let's take a look at the rest of your list:
the labyrinth (see how i spelled that right - and i don't even like it) - looks nice but sadly lacking in any kind of plot. oh, and bowie is just
awful in it.
pirates of the caribbean - the low-point of cinematic history. a film based on a theme park ride! whatever happened to creativity?
wayne's world (look an apostrophe!) - amusing sketch somehow stretched to an hour and a half. at least you didn't pick the sequel.
terminator 2 - i think i'm going soft but i'm going to let that one slip through.
airplane - this was funny for about five minutes twenty-odd years ago.
interview with the vampire - oh yeah, it's just so goffick. unfortunately it's also crap.
the crow - see above.
fight club - it wouldn't get anywhere near
my top ten but in this company it's like a pearl amongst swine.
seven years in tibet - was this filmed in real-time? certainly feels like it...
you know, i almost enjoyed that - anybody else want a go?

okay well whatever. it wasnt meant to be topic of the century, and i like those films for personal reasons, like being childhood favourites, rather than trying to impress someone with extensive movie knowledge and something interlectual. i apologise for having sentiment.
like i said, i was bored, and interested. because im going through a movie phase and want something new to watch.
sorry, didn't realise fun was a crime on this board.

What...lazy people can't be cam whores too? That's practically the definition--you don't want to get/can't hang onto a real job, so you cam whore for curry money. It's all spelled out in the lower case, Quifflet. Now how's about you give us a peek at
your site?

yeah i type in lower case, and thats because of the lazy factor, and i'm not really too bothered whether it offends you.
and since when did you become movie critic of the year? if you don't like what the thread is about, why f**king post? maybe i should start one of 'whos the biggest wanker on this board?'
you're either very bored and have nothing better to do with your life, or you're just taking a stab at me because i'm new here.
well, f**k you guys.

I think you'll find it was reel time. But otherwise, couldn't agree more.
And joeybear. Thank you for kicking this off. Don't go. It's all make believe on the internet. Richey is really a gentle cheviot sheep, living a sedentary life in a small field north of keswick. Now, where did I put my plans to invade Poland?
