Does anyone like Kevin Ayers?

My partner adores Kevin Ayers and would like to know if any Sisters fans have heard of him? I think his music is interesting, sort of dark and bluesy brooding and he has a deeeeeeeeeeeep voice! 
He was known in the '70s but he is still around...
His album "The Confessions of Dr Dream and other stories" is a good listen if anyone is interested in checking him out! Personal recommendation for younger ears...
