FPL GW21: Preview, update and review (Deadline 10 Jan 11:30)

It's that time again and GW21 beckons...
After a serious spanking from
EIB last GW,
IGM will be looking to bounce back.
The overall differential currently stands at
+161 to
The Sisters. Which is the
lowest it's been since
GW8.
* Does a SAF-like gaze into the distance, in the changing-room, whilst holding a football-boot in his hand *
Winter WCs have been available since the GW20 deadline and a quick look around shows that six out of 22 have been activated:
IGM - Spiritwalkers, Clash All Stars, Meteora Heartland FC.
EIB - Deep Green Sea Utd, Team WMS, Unstuck Forest.
How will that change the fantasy landscape this GW? Only Lady Luck and the Fat Lady will know the answers.
Good luck all!

Team here is locked and loaded.
My forward line is even scaring me

Oh. And another spanking?

Gets a bit tricky deciding who has the Alice band.
I think both my goalie choices could well be doomed today too, but I am hoping my outfielders balance that out

Pretty glad I relegated Sterling to the bench as apparently he is on holiday in the Caribbean, the poor tired lamb. I might make a similar request of my boss on Monday.

In the absence of Sterling, I've got Dean Marney coming off my bench who's been my cheapie 5th mid of choice for yonks. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Though I will confess that I had to click on his FPL profile pic just to see what he looks like, as I've never seen him play. I'm now starting to feel very guilty that he might think I've just been 'using' him...

After the Sunderland Liverpool game i am quite glad I have none of those players.
I prolly would have ended up with minus points by now

Likewise Ivanovic and Austin - the gifts that keep on giving. If only I'd backed my WBA hunch ...

I wish I'd given Austin the Alice band now.

The one where you asked about the 'Pulis Effect'? in the 'secret' section?
The one where I decided to stick with my Foster/Wisdom combo? The one where Mav decided to WC and treble-up on WBA's defence?
That 'hunch'?

24 points from my goalkeeper and 3 defenders - 4 clean sheets

You definitely weren't about Harry Kane the other week.

Who said Stoke are not such a physical side now that Hughes is in charge?
Some of these challenges are brutal
