Crying buckets.

I think that's the first time I'm crying over the death of a real person.

f**k.

66 is no age, but the silver lining is that he and his family don't suffer the long and awful decline into dementia.

So long, Sir Terry. :(

'You're not going to die, are you sir?' he said.
'Of course I am. Everyone is. That's what being alive is all about.'

RIP...

Absolutely gutted and lost for words...

Then again, indeed it's maybe better than his slow slip into what he called 'the embuggerance'...

Thanks Sir Terry for that lovely place where I was, and still am, always welcome... The Discworld.

Iz.

Of course, we've all been expecting it for a long time now, but doesn't make it any better when it happens.

There's nothing left to read now.

another one thats made me cry....or perhaps just upset from the last. :(

did he end it himself? in lots of ways it doesnt matter but what really matters is that he shouldnt have had to spend so much of the end of his life campaigning for the right to...it should already be law.
we all have the right to dignity.

RIP Sir Terry.....ursula le guin? you old show off.... :notworthy:

Very upsetting. I'm also annoyed as I re-read all my Pratchett books last year so I feel kind of guilty for not wanting to this year, at least, not at the moment when I feel I should.

He was the best.
