Um, what's the status of this band?
I liked their FB page when it went up, as I seem to recall they were all about doing acoustic covers of Sisters tracks, and I thought that was a nice idea. I followed for a while, thinking that something tactile would be issued, but stopped a few years ago when I was getting sick of FB and it's new features.
Sadly, it seems nothing has been released, and although there are some YT vids I wonder if anything with better sound was ever posted here/shared as I don't do camcorder footage.
Regardless, I wonder what those HL'ers that got to see The Marching Men thought about their take on the songs, and would be interested to know which tracks made it into the set.
I was always keen, but they never played Johannesburg...

....and March is nearly gone...
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Thanks for your enquiry and comments!Gaijin wrote:Um, what's the status of this band?
The Marching Men stood down from active duty after the gig at The Library in February last year. There were initial plans to recruit another Von-a-like but due to the various locations of remaining members, this was not possible.
Updates are sporadically posted via TMM Facebook site, but mainly as an aide-memoir as to current related activities.
